FSH regulation of sertoli cell functions and response

Résumé

Androgens from the leydig cells in combination with FSH regulates spermatogenesis via the sertoli cell. FSH binding to specific membrane receptors activates adenylyl cyclase and protein kinase with subsequent influence on protein synthesis and secretion.
