Evaluation of intracellular cryoprotectant concentration before freezing of goat mature oocyte

The present study was carried out to investigate the permeability of goat oocytes to water, glycerol, ethylene glycol and propanediol. Permeability was studied with a dynamic approach and was checked for its temperature dependence. Our modelling of osmotic behaviour allowed us to maximize the intracellular concentrations of cryoprotectants during a minimal period of exposure before freezing
